My interest in genealogy began as a youngster when I was told that my grandfather was related to Alexander Graham Bell.  I have disproved this myth.

When I retired from the Asheville Medical Center, I became a volunteer at the Asheville Family History Center.  It was here that I became acquainted with Joe Lalley and his research.

My research has taken me to Switzerland, Southern Germany, Alsace-Lorraine, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Nova Scotia, Dakota Territory {South Dakota}, Iowa and Quebec.  The surnames are: Bell, Brown, Ehert, Eichacker, Lippert, Marcotte, and Murray.   I am most interested in receiving additional information others may have for these families.  I shall be happy to share the results on my own extensive research with others.
