|Kathleen Roddy Connor
Wilmington, Delaware born and raised, oldest of seven children.
Paternal grandparents (Roddy, Doherty) came from Londonderry in 1920s.
Maternal Irish connection through grandmother - Grant and McNiff - haven't tracked down their time of entry, but believe it to be in mid 19th century. Rumor has it that a McNiff served as a waterboy during the Civil War.
Have always been aware of and proud of Irish ancestry. WILL visit Ireland one day.
Wife of Jack Connor, sister of Mary Francis Roddy Morris. Mother of Daniel Brake, Sean Connor, Mallory O'Rodaigh Connor.
Presently principal of St. Paul School, Wilmington, Delaware
Learned, after my acceptance of the position, that both sets of grandparents were married at St. Paul Church; maternal grandmother and great aunts attended St. Paul Commercial School, and great aunt served as a Franciscan nun at St. Paul.
