Jeanne Elizabeth Victoire Gaeton De Moin D’orbigny
In the year 1798 on the fifteenth day of the month of April I, the undersigned pastor of the above mentioned church, have baptized Jeanne Elizabeth Victorie, born in Wilmington in the state of Delaware the twenty-seventh day of the month of November 1797, legitimate daughter of Monsieur ____?____ Gaetton De Moin D’orbigny and of Madam Cecile Victoire Bazile, landowners of the western part on the isle of St. Domingue, and refugees to this state.
She has as godfather and godmother Louis Florent Bazile, represented by Jean Garesché DuRocher, and Dame Victoire DuRoi Bazile by Madame Elizabeth Brossay Garesché Du Rocher, her representative, all landowners in the western part of the isle of St. Domingue and equally refugees in this state.
The witnesses were Monsieur Pierre Henry Dupont de Gault, William Francois Marie Hamon DeVaujoyeux¹. They have signed with us as have the father and the mother of the infant.
