On the twentieth of March 1800, we, the undersigned Vice-Prefect Apostolic, Superior General of the missions in the north of Saint Domingue placed in charge by my Lord Bishop of Baltimore to the above mentioned Catholic Church in Wilmington, state of Delaware, have baptized Etienne, born on the thirty-first last month, legitimate son of Sieur Louis Alexandre Amilie Bauduy, a resident of St. Domingue, and of Demoiselle Victorie Agathe Mathurine Darnaud, his wife.
He had for the Godfather Sieur Etienne Darnaud, his grandfather, and for the Godmother Dame Helene Cruon Bauduy, grandmother, who signed with us as well as the father and the mother.
